The transaction represents a further step in the company\u2019s business plan, aimed at strengthening its growth, competitiveness and international positioning.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction is structured as a Sustainability-Linked Bond, linking the financing to the achievement of specific environmental targets and reinforcing the group\u2019s path towards sustainable growth.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, Ecogest has established a stable presence in North America through its subsidiary <strong>Ecogest North America Inc.<\/strong>, which currently operates on approximately 40 per cent of the primary motorway network in the Canadian province of Ontario. The group now aims to further expand its presence in Canada and strengthen the development path already underway in the United States, where it has been present since 2025 with a holding company in Delaware and an operating company in Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Specialising in the maintenance of green spaces along major road and motorway infrastructure, Ecogest carries out activities that are fundamental to the safety and quality of road networks, including mowing, pruning, tree maintenance and environmental restoration. Over time, it has developed a highly specialised business model, based on technical expertise, dedicated equipment and advanced technologies, which enables it to operate to high standards of efficiency, safety and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside its environmental focus, Ecogest also prioritises social responsibility through a multicultural and diverse workforce, which is one of the defining features of its corporate culture.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEcogest\u2019s growth trajectory is now fully industrial and international<\/em>,\u201d commented <strong>Valerio Molinari, the majority shareholder of Ecogest S.p.A.<\/strong> \u2013 <em>\u201cThe entry of Riello Investimenti SGR marks an important step in our evolution, as it enables us to accelerate our expansion into foreign markets, starting with Canada, where we continue to grow through a well-established presence and where we intend to replicate and develop the model already proven in Italy<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ecogest is the latest company to receive funding from the Fondo Impresa Italia II and marks the final stage in the construction of its portfolio, bringing to the fund the value of an investment in a sector that is counter-cyclical to current market dynamics and the geopolitical context.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alberto Lampertico, Investment Director of the Impresa Italia II Private Debt Fund managed by Riello Investimenti Sgr<\/strong>, stated: <em>\u201cWith the investment in Ecogest, we are completing the Impresa Italia II Fund\u2019s portfolio by supporting a leading company in its niche within a public utility sector, capable of combining operational strength, technological innovation and environmental impact.\u00a0 All this within a counter-cyclical business, which is no small matter in the current macroeconomic climate.
