Abruzzo is among the six Italian regions most exposed to extreme climate events. Climate change is accelerating drought and desertification phenomena, making the management of natural resources increasingly difficult. According to Ecogest’s Climate Change Study Centre, without urgent measures, the territory risks irreparable damage, with direct consequences on the environment, infrastructure and economy.
