The person in this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of safety, in accordance with the specific requirements of the role as laid down by law. They will also be assisted in their duties by the internal A.S.P.P. (Prevention and Protection Service Provider), who is already employed by the company. By way of example, and without limitation:

• Management and constant review of all company safety documents, in accordance with regulatory updates;
• Development of safety procedures for various company activities;
• Supervision of the activities of the A.S.P.P. regarding the organization of training courses, medical examinations, and the issuance of authorizations for highway maneuvers, drafting of P.O.S. and D.V.R. for construction sites;
• Selection and verification of training course providers;
• Weekly visits to company worksites to verify the correct application of safety procedures and the correct condition and use of personal protective equipment and safety devices on machinery/equipment;
• Participation in consultations on health and safety at work, including those called by customers, as well as in the periodic meeting referred to in Article 35 of Legislative Decree 81/2008;
• Assisting the General Manager, the Employer’s Delegates, Managers, and Supervisors in the timely fulfillment of their duties pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08.

Main responsibilities:

• Constantly verify the correct application of safety measures on company construction sites
• Perform all the duties assigned by law to the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (Article 33 of Legislative Decree 81/08);
• In general, any other aspect relating to safety

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Management), Agricultural Sciences or similar qualifications;
• Qualification and experience in the role of A.S.P.P. Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (art. 32 of Legislative Decree 81/08);
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations on worksites (Legislative Decree 81/08);
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the country;
• Driver’s license B.

Preferred qualifications:

• Qualification to deliver training courses for internal staff
• Specific experience on road/motorway worksites
• Qualification as Safety Coordinator (CSP/CSE);
• Knowledge of certified management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 39001).

Place of work: The main office is in Cotignola (RA) with frequent travel to various regions of Italy
Contract: Permanent

The selected resource will be placed within the offices of the headquarters in Cotignola (Ravenna) with duties of assistant to the Foreign Markets Management, in detail the main tasks will be the following:

 

-front office with the Canadian and American offices;

– preparation of all documentation whether it be administrative rather than legal and/or commercial required and/or in any case to be prepared for tendering activities, bonding (guarantees for contracts), commercial agreements, draft contracts and any other activity required by the management and to be carried out with the support of the Foreign Administration office and with the support of the General Management.

 

Requirements:

High school diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree;

Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English;

Good knowledge of the Office package;

Good interpersonal skills;

Willingness to travel to North America for periods of no less than 7/10 days;

Seriousness, punctuality and ambitions for professional growth complete the profile.

 

Our offer:

Gross Annually Salary proportional to the experience;

Work schedule: full time 39 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 8/day and Friday 7/day;

Work location: Cotignola – Toronto – US;

Initial training period at the location no less than 3 months;

A complete training program is guaranteed with the head office management and, if necessary, with the owner, for a subsequent transfer of operational responsibilities, permanent employment including a probationary period.

It is essential to have a driver’s license, maximum availability for constant business travel in all the Italian regions where the company operates, professional knowledge of English, both written and spoken, willingness to assume permanent managerial roles related to company representation procedures for employee safety at work, assumption of operational roles and subjective and objective responsibilities in the overall management of multi-year contracts.

The main place of work is the company’s headquarters in Cotignola (Ravenna), with constant weekly travel to all the Italian regions where the company operates.
