18 September 2023

ASECAP DAYS Istanbul 2023 - Ecogest e Climate Change Study Center

The 50th edition of the ‘ASECAP DAYS‘, the annual European event dedicated to motorway mobility, opens today in Istanbul. Hundreds of delegates, representing over 30 European and non-European countries, will attend the event, this year dedicated to sustainable mobility, which will see a rich and prestigious parterre of guests and speakers.
Among them is Ecogest, which will be present in Istanbul with its founder and main shareholder, Valerio Molinari, its general manager, Pietro Torchi Lucifora, and the researcher of the Climate Change Study Centre, Miriam Olmeda Alarcon; the delegation will also include Antonio Stornello, representing the partner Kassandra.
On Tuesday afternoon, Molinari and Stornello will present a world preview of the results of the first practical application of the Kassandra system on a motorway network. In particular, they will illustrate the study that Kassandra technicians, under the guidance of the Greenway Group, the holding company that owns the entire capital of Ecogest, have carried out over the last two years on behalf of the Consorzio Autostrade Venete, in connection with some motorway sections in the peri-urban area of Venice and the sites of greatest natural interest in the area.
The study measuring the degree of resilience of the infrastructure in the face of the devastating effects of climate change will be presented.
Before the section in which Molinari and Stornello will speak, it will be the general manager who will briefly present the company and its commitment to the environment, to the audience of delegates from all over Europe and America, as well as the many scholars and scientists present.
