Ecogest S.p.A. of Ravenna accelerates into the $22 billion North American market and brings the group’s total portfolio to 80 million

29 January 2026

Ravenna, 21 January 2026 – From the European market to the world’s largest: Ecogest S.p.A. accelerates in North America, an area worth more than $22 billion a year between the United States and Canada, and consolidates a total portfolio of around €78-80 million between Italy and North America, marking a key step in its international growth trajectory.

“The size of the North American market imposes a change of scale and mentality,” comments Valerio Molinari, Ecogest’s reference shareholder. “We have built a local platform with people, means, and structures capable of competing in a market of over 22 billion dollars a year. It is on this basis that we are charting the group’s growth path towards 2030′.

By 2025, the Group has reached a total portfolio between Italy and North America of around €78-80 million, supported by an annual aggregate turnover of more than €21 million, with an average growth rate of around 7% per year. Numbers that mark the transition from a development phase to a structured growth trajectory, with a medium-long term industrial horizon.

The pivot of international development is represented by the North American platform coordinated by Ecogest Holding Inc., based in Ayr, Ontario, which governs the entire perimeter of operations between Canada and the United States. A structure built to compete stably in a highly complex market, thanks to a mixed Italian-Canadian governance that combines industrial control and strong local roots.

In North America alone, Ecogest can count on:

$26.2 million of multi-year contracts already acquired;

$23.7 million of commercial pipeline at an advanced stage.

A perimeter that allows the Group to operate on strategic infrastructures and to position itself within the most relevant market in the world for investments in road and environmental maintenance.

Activities are now concentrated in Ontario, along seven motorway sections for about 700 kilometres of network, including sections such as Highway 401, considered one of the busiest road infrastructures on the continent. An operating context that demands high standards of continuity, safety and efficiency, and which represents an important test of the group’s industrial credibility.

The development trajectory is already defined: between 2026 and 2027, new operating bases are planned in British Columbia and Alberta, while in the United States the group will start operations in Texas, Tennessee, Virginia and Florida, areas characterised by extensive infrastructure networks and a structural demand for specialised maintenance.

To support its growth, Ecogest already has a structure sized to scale: 63 employees, an international management team and an operating fleet of 41 units, a set-up that allows it to absorb new volumes without losing operational control and service quality.

With the strengthening of its presence in North America and the consolidation of its activities in Italy, Ecogest is now positioned as a European operator capable of competing in the world’s largest infrastructure market, transforming international expansion into a long-term economic and industrial project.
